He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Norwilla Kimbrough and Paul Lawrence Kimbrough; his children, Kamala Kimbrough and Alford "Red" Kimbrough, Jr.; and his brothers, Charles Stevens Kimbrough, Leslie Haywood Kimbrough and Lawrence Legette Kimbrough.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia B. Kimbrough; his children, Bryant Clark, Damien, Shannon Kimbrough, Carlton Kimbrough, Janie Clark, Rotunya Mock (Danny) and Doretha Dixon; and his siblings, Denise Gillis (Larry), Doris K. Evans, Michael Kimbrough, Bobby Kimbrough, Sr., Kayyum Allah and Landis Kimbrough. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
