He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Henderson Galloway, Sr. and Martha Erckman Galloway; and his brothers, James Gray Galloway and Robert Galloway. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Berry Galloway; his sons, Alexander Henderson Galloway III (Tracey) of Charlotte and Joseph Andrew "Jay" Galloway (Carrie) of Charlotte; and his grandchildren, Alex IV, Lane, Celia and Eliza of Charlotte. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (520 Summit St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101).
