He is survived by: his wife Delvin Mickey Cox; his children, Kim Phillips (Jeff) of Winston-Salem, NC and Mickey Cox (Sonya) of Winston-Salem, NC; his grandchildren, Wesley McIver (Liz) of Winston-Salem, NC, Erin McIver of Winston-Salem, NC, Taylor Cox (Hope) of Knoxville, TN and Caroline Childers (Seth) of Clayton, NC.; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Charlie Mae and Kendall; and his brother Bobby Cox (Marcia).
