It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aaron Daniel Speas of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 34, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Mark Speas; his uncles, Christopher Calloway, Ezra Byrd, Randy Mabe and Randy Severin; his aunt Susan Griffith; his great-uncle Clyde Aldridge; his great-aunt Katie Westmoreland; his cousin Curtis Mabe; and his grandparents, Beverly Siverly (Madre), Red Beard (Hoover Speas) and Douglas Calloway (Duck).
He is survived by: his mother Kym Speas Wooten (Charles) of King, NC.; his children, Olivia Kimble and Xavier Presa-Speas; his sister Mindy Shamp (Jordan); his nephews, Riley, Dayna Bryant (Marcus), Tyson and Levi Wright; his brothers, Dakota Speas and Christopher Mabe; his stepfather Royal Siverly (Puddin); his aunts and uncles, Carla Byrd, Tenia Anderson, Jill Siverly Atkins (Tony), Debbie Vest (Tom), Ronnie Siverly and Jack Westmoreland; his stepsiblings, Christen Richards, Jessica Dominguez, Cameron and Matthew Wooten; his grandparents, Mary and David Hooper; his great-aunt Martha Aldridge; and his close friend Marcie.
