She was predeceased by: her father Andrew Jackson Jones. She is survived by: her husband Ben Alvin Gilbert Sr.; her children, Orlando Jones (McKenzie), Ben Gilbert Jr., Cardarius Gilbert (Brittany) and Leonard Joyner; her grandchildren, Cali, Maliah and Alivia Jones; her mother Mary Ellen Jones; her grandmother Carrie Mae Pugh; her siblings, Ann Taylor (Leonard), Shelia Briggs, Andrew Jones, Marvin Dudley, Annette Williams (Joe), Patricia Briggs, William Jones (LaShay), Christine Smith (Eric) and Lakisha Jones; her aunts, Ollie Stackhouse and Doretha Boykins; and her great-aunt Elizabeth Sharpless. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
