He was predeceased by: his son Alexander E. Jacobs, III. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Melvin; and his children, LaTonya Carter (Kenneth) of Beulaville, Nancy Lawson (Timothy) of Winnabow, Jeremiah Melvin, Jr. of Kenansville, Teresa Landry (Terrance) of Winnabow, Pastor Faye Spencer (Bruce) of Atkinson and Jennifer Smith (Maurice) of Winnabow. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
