He was predeceased by: his parents, Colon Lavern Hickman Sr. and Lois Jane Gore Hickman; and his siblings, Eddie Hickman and Cheryl Lynn Hickman. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Pepper Hickman; his sons, Colon Lavern Hickman III (Jennifer) and Robert Neil Hickman (Maggie); his brothers, Norman Hickman (Linda), Jerry Hickman (Pat) and David Hickman (Elaine); and his grandchildren, Annemarie Long and Logan Hickman.
