She was predeceased by: her parents, Reid Williams and Queen Latham Williams; and her husband Billy Edwards. She is survived by: her children, Eddie Edwards (Kaye) of Polkton, Tony Edwards (Annette) of Monroe, Linda Bundy (Ligon) of Monroe and Susan Bowers (Joe) of Monroe; and her sisters, Alice Luther of Ashboro, Patricia Miller of Troy and Kay Luck of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Faulks Baptist Church 2234 Faulks Church Road Marshville, NC 28103.
