She was predeceased by: her parents, Bradley Baker and Irene Baker; her husband Marvin Crook; and her siblings, Harold Baker and Linda Wall.

She is survived by: her children, Janice Crook, Dwayne Crook (Carrie) and Brian Crook (Kari). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Shining Light Baptist Church.
