She was predeceased by: her mothers, June Smathers and Joy Ingle Smathers; and her husband Ray Carnes. She is survived by: her daughters, Monica Norris (Bruce) of Four Oaks, NC and Pam Bean of Wingate; her mother-in-law Cora Lee Carnes; her sister-in-law Sandy Mills (Bobby) of Monroe; her grandson Ethan Norris (Ashley); her great grandchild Liam Norris; and her nephew Garrett Mills.
