She was predeceased by: her parents, Olin Williams and Margaret Thomas Williams; and her sister Ann Edwards. She is survived by: her husband Ernest Clinton Threatt; her children, Jamie Helms and Sharon Rape (Eric); her sisters, Dale Helms and Reba Burgess; and her grandchildren, Sophia Helms, Erika Braswell (Caleb), Kyle Rape (Katlynn) and Rachel Rape.
