It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J Smithwick (Windsor, North Carolina), who passed away on March 23, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Jordan and Edith Dunning Smithwick; and his wife Linda Castelloe Smithwick. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Castelloe-Abraham (Michael) of Beford, VA and Stacy Castelloe of Kinston, NC; his sisters, Betty, S. Marden (Dale) of Raleigh, NC and Ann S. Totty (Emmitt) of Chester, VA; and his grandchildren, Alexandra Rivera Taicher and Sebastian Abraham.
