It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Riddick Cowper III (Windsor, North Carolina), who passed away on March 5, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Mardre Cowper and William Riddick Cowper, Jr.; his sister Helen McElhoe; and his former wife Peggy Young Cowper. He is survived by: his wife Ann Disosway Cowper; his son Matt Cowper; and his sisters, Harriett Bobbitt (Bo) and Gene Highsmith (Bobby). He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
