He was predeceased by: his parents, Beverly Charles and William Charles of Union. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his sons, Colin (Azusa) and Preston (April); his grandchildren, Camden, Elliot, Asher and Matthew; and his brothers, William "Billy" Charles and Richard "Dickie" Charles.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, services are limited to immediate family members and close friends. Masks and social distancing are required.
