It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Spivey (Windsor, North Carolina), who passed away on May 5, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Spivey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, Wade White and Frentress White. She is survived by: her children, Debra Spivey Jernigan of Edenton, Gwen Spivey White (Tom) and James Lowell Spivey of Kitty Hawk; and her sister Catherine White Speller of Windsor. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, ten great great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
