She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Lee West and Ethna Norene Martin West; her husband Michael L. Ownbey of Windsor, NC; her children, Allison Ownbey of Plymouth, NC and Andrew E. Ownbey (Jenny) of Tar Heel, NC; her siblings, Norene Phillips of Hampton, VA, William L. West, Jr. of Hampton, VA., Robert West of Hampton, VA. and Johnny West of New Kent, VA; and her grandchildren, Gage Waterfield, Jessi Waterfield, Savannah Ownbey and Caylee Ownbey.
