He is survived by: his wife Betty Louise Briley; his daughters, Kathy Copeland of Windsor and Pat Mizelle of Grifton; his grandchildren, Brandi Willams (Jason), Braxton Copeland (Kayla), Gavin Mizelle (Sarah) and Braelin Paterson (Quentin); and his great grandchildren, Regan Copeland, Lileigh Copeland, Jarrett Williams and Garrett Paterson A.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Open Door Church- Bertie Campus (511 US-13, Windsor, NC 27983).
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made Gentiva Hospice and Bertie County Humane Society.
