He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Gene and Annie Marie Mizell Francis; his wife Verna Mai Billingsley Francis; his children, Robert Gene "Bobby" Francis, Jr. and Kathryn Elizabeth "Kathy" Francis; and his siblings, Debbie Wynn and Harry Francis (late Charlotte).
He is survived by: his daughters, Teri Francis Williford (late Marshall) of Edenton and Treasa Francis White (Tim) of Windsor; his grandchildren, Bobi Williford Bobbitt (Justis), Marshall Lee Williford, III (Stacy), Lynse Williford Rivenbark (Josh), Luke Francis Williford (Morgan), Dustin Billingsley White, Gabriel Francis White (Ashley), Zachary Hayden White (Kelsey), Nathaniel Dare Harper and Robert Reid Kerns (Bri); his friend Judy Northcott; and his sisters, Sadie Nadler (Ed) and Treasa Francis (Rusty). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Open Door Church- Bertie Campus (511 US-13, Windsor, NC 27983).
