Phyllis Smithwick Tripp Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Smithwick Tripp of Windsor, North Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Smithwick and Idonia Lawrence Smithwick; and her brother Bill Smithwick. She is survived by: her daughters, Hope Gosser (Frank) of Edenton, Annette Farmer (Sammy) of Aulander and Donna Askew (Mutt) of Aulander; her grandchildren, Brad, Stephanie, Justin, Adam, Brandon and Joshua; her sister Mary Malott of Ohio; her sister-in-law Geraldine Keech of Belhaven; and her friend Pam Morris. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
