It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Barwick (Windsor, North Carolina), born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on December 30, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Gummere Kirkland and Willie Glasgow Kirkland; her husband John Henry Barwick of Grifton; her children, Sam (Mary Glenn), Peggy (John) and Mary Glenn Benton; her son-in-law Glenn Benton of Chapel Hill; her granddaughter Mary Hunter Benton; her son John Samuel Barwick; and her sister Doris Kirkland Donald. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
