She is survived by: her husband Tony Garland Jernigan; her daughters, Stacy Lassiter (Brian) of Aulander and Sandy Jernigan of Windsor; her sister Gail Smith of Windsor; her grandchildren, Sarah Eure of Ahoskie, Madison Lassiter of Aulander and Broden Lassiter of Aulander; and her great grandchild Leighton Eure of Ahoskie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
