She was predeceased by: her parents, James Otis Hoggard and Lottie Lelia White Hoggard; her siblings, Joyce Shook, Jean Hoggard, Jim Hoggard and Bill Hoggard; and her daughter Angie Jernigan.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Frank Jernigan; her daughters, Krista Jernigan of Home and Regina Griffin (Rick) of Greenville, NC; her grandchildren, Carrie Seufer (Michael) of Elizabeth City, Brandon Jernigan (Brooklyn) of Windsor, Joshua Griffin (Chris) of Greenville, Jessica Griffin of Raleigh, Shannon Tatem (Matthew) of Jarvisburg, Will Jernigan of Tyner and Frank Jernigan of Grandy; her great grandchildren, Michelle Jernigan, Alex Seufer, Laycee Tatem and Mia Deweese; and her pet George.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethel Assembly of God (105 Askewville Bryant St, Windsor, NC 27983).
