She is survived by: her sons, Ernie Byrum of Newport News, VA and Thomas Byrum (Robin) of Windsor, NC; her sister Mary Leary Davis of Windsor; her granddaughters, Jennifer Byrum and Niki Hale; her great grandchildren, Sophie Crabtree and Ella Hale; and her friend Mary Davis.
