She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Celvin Liverman, Sr. and Ila Mae Minton Liverman; her son Lewis Scott Surgeon; her husband Lewis Bernard Surgeon, Jr.; and her brother Ernest Celvin Liverman, Jr..
She is survived by: her son Christopher Brian Surgeon (Melissa); her grandsons, Christopher Scott Surgeon (Brooke Hoggard) and Jacob Lewis Surgeon; and her sister Cindy (Tommy Morris). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
