Janet Staples Worthington Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Staples Worthington of Windsor, North Carolina, who passed away on April 2, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earline Staples and Tommie Staples; her husband Worthington; and her sister Mary Staples Chambers. She is survived by: her sister Sue Staples Vinson; her nephew John Long; her niece Allison Gupton; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Daniel Long, Billy Long, Justin Thompson, Meghan Powell, Kasey Stroud Woolard and Olivia Long.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church (302 S Queen St, Windsor, NC 27983).
