It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Duke Baughn (Windsor, North Carolina), who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Myrtle Kellem Baughn; his former wife Alice Saul Baughn; and his brothers, Tommy, Johnny and Richard "Tex" Baughn.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Vestal Baughn; his daughters, Angie Cobb (Roy) of Windsor and Robin Walton (Jason) of Rockwell; his brothers, Toby, Mike Baughn of Burlington and Larry Baughn of Elon; and his grandchildren, Ashlyn White (Hunter), Hunter Cobb, Alex Senter, Gavin Walton, Emma Walton and Jackson Walton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
