He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Burnley Lowe and Mary Mancuso Lowe of Virginia; and his sister Faye McClenny. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Harrison Lowe; his children, Kimberly Dawn Pearce of Texas, Jannell Roundtree of Windsor, Ginny Lowe of Greenville and James Burney Lowe, Jr. of Suffolk, VA; and his siblings, Rodger Lowe of Chesapeake, VA and Patricia Goodrich of Surry, VA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
