He was predeceased by: his parents, James Milton Harmon and Mary Phelps Harmon; his stepmother Ruby Mae Crisp; and his siblings, Sandra Harman Vaughan and Jimmy Ray Harmon.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie McKeel Harmon; his children, Janet Pierce (Billy) of Windsor, Tina Bauer (Scott) of Aulander, Charlie Harmon (Robin) of Ahoskie, Robert Earl Harmon (Penny) of Windsor and Bobby Harmon (Magan) of Aulander; his siblings, Gail Harmon Jones of Kure Beach, NC and Allen Harmon of Aulander; and his grandchildren, David Pierce, Brian Harmon, Michael Harmon, Ashley Bassett, Alex Harmon, Aydan Harmon, Colin Lewis, Eli Harmon, Cy Harmon and Caden Bauer. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Walker Funeral Home-Windsor (236 US-17 BYP, Windsor, NC 27983). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
