He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Lane and Henry Slaughter Alston; and his sister Patricia Alston Stillman (David Jennings). He is survived by: his sons, Zachary Graham Alston (Kelvin Vivar) of New York, N. Y. and Lane Henry Charles Alston of Windsor; and his sister Laurie Alston Jennings (Lee) of Holly Springs, NC.
