He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lloyd and Pauline Speller Leggett; his son Bobby Leggett; and his sisters, Frances Hoggard, Christine Wynne and Helen Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis White Leggett; his children, Mark Leggett (Jackie), Shane Leggett (Taylor) and Lynn Keel (Cricket); his stepson Dalton Conner of Lumberton; and his sisters, Shirley L. Nash of Merry Hill and Rachel Mobley. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
