It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Hoggard Williford (Windsor, North Carolina), born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on March 5, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband James Alvin "Steamboat" Williford; her son Brother Jr.; her siblings, Mary Louise Johnson, James Francis "Zeke" Hoggard and Thomas M. Hoggard; her daughters, Katherine W. White of Windsor, Pattie W. Penn (John) of Raleigh, Faye W. Dunlow (Lannie) of Aulander, Peggy W. Jordan of Greenville and Debbie W. Ellis (Chuck) of Merry Hill; her daughter-in-law Emmie Lou Taylor of Merry Hill; and also Williford, Jr.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
