He was predeceased by: his father Church Mobley; his wife Ruby Crawford Mobley; his sons, Jeff Mobley and Jimmy Mobley; and his siblings, Doris Gurganus, Elsie Gregory, Kerney Mobley, Ernie Claude "Buddy" Mobley and Garland Mobley.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Mobley (Debbie) of Jamesville and David Mobley (Kim) of Williamston; his sisters, Margie Harris, Ilene Woolard of New Bern and Faye Martin of Williamston; and his grandchildren, Victoria, David, Brandi, Dustin and Courtney. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
