She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Phelps and Frances Pierce Phelps; and her brother Percy Phelps. She is survived by: her husband John L. Pierce; her son John L. Pierce, III (Donna) of Windsor; her sister Doris June Hoggard of Windsor; and her grandchildren, Amanda Hoggard (Rick), William Waters, III (Allie), Heidi Matthews, Madison Todd and William Raynor Waters IV.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Walker Funeral Home (236 US-17 BYP, Windsor, NC 27983). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Windsor Assembly of God (1505 S King St, Windsor, NC 27983).
