He was predeceased by: his parents, Lellie Hughes and Marie Dunlow Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Janice Swain Hughes; his children, Dianne H. Gilleland (Bill) of White Lake, NC, Darlene H. Futrell (Winston) of Conway, NC and Randy Wayne Hughes (Mitzi) of Merry Hill, NC; and his siblings, Rogenia H. Rollert of Longview, TX and Leon Hughes of Williamston, NC. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
