He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Jernigan and Beaulah Mizelle Jernigan; his daughter Shannon Jernigan; and his sister Judy Jernigan Selby. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Jernigan (Kelly) of Williamston, Jeana Jernigan and Renae Jernigan of Colerain; and his siblings, Tony Jernigan of Colerain and Sudie Oliver (Jerry) of Laurel Springs, NC. He is also survived by three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many nieces and one nephew.
