It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beth Layton White (Windsor, North Carolina), who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gilbert and Lucy Vivian Belch Layton; and her sister Janie Cornelia Layton Ambrose. She is survived by: her husband Thomas White; her daughters, Lisa White Willis (Forest) of Davie, Susan White Swain (David) of Pantego, Betsy White Thompson (Jamie) of Plymouth, Angela White of Merry Hill and Karen White Burnett (Shawn) of Merry Hill; and her siblings, Patricia Layton Anderson of Edenton, Juanita Layton Nixon of Hertford and John Gilber Layton, Jr. of Windsor. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
