It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Everitte Shanks Stacy of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on October 28, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her siblings, Shelia McClain (Ben) of Spring, Texas and Oscar Frank Everitte, Jr. (Karen) of Mebane; her granddaughter Lillian "Lily" Frances Shanks of Petersborough, Ontario; her pet Susannah; her parents, Oscar Frank Everitte, Sr. and Rachel Owens Everitte; and her brother Robert Wayne Everitte. She was also cherished by seventeen grand nieces and nephews.
