He was predeceased by: his parents, James McClure and Sadie Tanner McClure; and his siblings, Anne McClure Young, James and Donald McClure.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Houston McClure; his children, William "Mac" McClure of Bogata, Columbia, Darin McClure (Kristy) of Raleigh and Mary Kay McClure of West End; and his grandchildren, Camryn, Lauren, Marshall McClure, Christopher, Kaylee, Alyssa and Sadie Akerlund. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
