Wanda Baucom Lamm Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wanda Baucom Lamm (Wilson, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 18, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daphne Baucom and Alton Baucom; and her siblings, Bonnie Driver and Dan Baucom. She is survived by: her husband Doug; her children, Dr. Amy Draper (Sonny), Alton Lamm and Melodie Powell (James); her grandchildren, Mollie Shaw (Josh), Alex Bass (Emily), Lillie Bass, Megan Lamm, Will, Lee and Redden Powell; her great grandchildren, Lorelai Shaw and Hatteras Johnson; her sister Sanda Hight (Fred); and her children, Hunger of Wilson and Forest Hills Baptist Church.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (400 College St NE, Wilson, NC 27893).
