He was predeceased by: his parents, Josh David Batts, Sr. and Frances Estelle Swinson Batts; and his sister Shirley Diggs. He is survived by: his daughter Bridgette "Demita" Harris; his grandchildren, Kishod Harris, Amaurri Harris and Morgan Harris; his siblings, Bettie "BJ" Gooch, Josh Batts, Sr. and Elvis Pope; his daughter Larayshea Harris; his nephews, Travis Diggs and Justin Diggs; and his cousins, Dejon Yelverton, Lejon Yelverton, Paul Farmer, Tony Farmer, David Edwards, Sherell Allen, Shavon Pippins and Benita Hutchinson.
