He was predeceased by: his mother Agnes Hines Blue; and his siblings, Ray Anthony Blue and Evonne Blue. He is survived by: his wife Rita Blue of Wilson, NC; his son Keiron Sanders of Greenville, NC; his father Thomas Earl Blue, Sr. of Wilson, NC; his siblings, Debra Hendricks (Lee) of Wilson, NC, Pamela Blue of Wilson, NC, Carolyn Blue of Wilson, NC, Thomas Earl Blue, Jr. of Coldspring, TX and Daniel Blue of Wilson, NC; and his great-nephew Brayden Blue (Spanky). He is also survived by two aunts; several nieces; cousins; other relatives and friends.
