He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton "Bud" Barnes and Burlyn Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Angela Pearson Barnes; his daughters, April Pridgen (Jacob), Holly Nichols (William) and Candace Moore (Thomas); his grandchildren, Greyson Crocker, Dawson Moore, Adellyn Perry, Brynlee Moore, Scarlett Nichols and Everly Pridgen; and his siblings, Wayne Barnes (Susan) and Joyce Bay (Bill).
