He was predeceased by: his parents, Heber Tyson and Margaret Tyson; and his daughter Melissa Tyson. He is survived by: his wife Vicky Lynn Tyson; his children, Michael Wayne Tyson (Crystal) of Greenville and Nicole Duke of Wilson; his brothers, Lyman Tyson (Marlo) of Rocky Mount and Randy Tyson of Myrtle Beach, SC; his grandchildren, Mia, Ethan Tyson, Ty Revis and Alexis Duke; and his great grandchildren, Junior and Mylo Revis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
