She was predeceased by: her husband George Read; her parents, Ransom Clark and Sandra Hill; and her grandchild Karson Perry. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Newman of Wilson; her sister Abby Clark of Bunn; her brother-in-law Gary Pennewell of Bunn; her niece Randi Thomas (Jacque Pruitte); her nephew Robert Woods of Kenly; and her grandchildren, Reyanne Perry, Kameron Perry and Bianka Perry.
