She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafael Guzman and Sara Rodriguez; and her husband Hector Torres. She is survived by: her children, Maria Torres-Guzman (Samuel Candelario-Valentin), Juan Torres and Hector Torres-Guzman. She is also survived by five siblings and seven grandchildren.
