She is survived by: her children, Laurie Tyson (Bill) of Stantonsburg and Steven Winstead of Elm City; her grandson Noah; and her siblings, Betty Woodard (J. E.) of Wilson, Edith Proctor (W. T.) of Oak Island and Joe Smith.
