He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Jessie Lucas and Swannie Stroud Lucas; his daughter Bonnie Sue Lucas; and his brother Lynnwood Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Taylor Lucas; his sons, Stephen Ray Lucas, Jr. of Lucama and Taylor Dale Lucas of Lucama; and his sisters, Faye House and Betty Baker. He is also survived by 1 granddaughter; and 8 great grandchildren.
