He is survived by: his wife Gail Etheridge Davis; his children, Shanna S. Wood (Ricky) and Blake Sanders (Lynn); his adoptive daughter Amy Carter; his grandchildren, Kaleb Wood, Silas Wood, Jarrah Wood, Alexi Sanders and Landen Sanders; his mother Velma Davis; his brothers, Keith Davis (Susan) and Robbie Davis (Cathy); his niece Meagan Eldridge (Justin); his nephews, Jonathan Davis (Allison), Jason Lee (Erin), David Howell, Daniel Howell and Zachary Howell; and his pet Buck.
