She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Dean "Buddy" Baker; her parents, Jodie Thomas Skinner and Mollie Sharp Skinner; and her brother Dannie Skinner. She is survived by: her children, Dawn Peter (Rudy) of Wilson and Dean Baker (Melissa) of Kinston; her grandchildren, Logan B. Pridgen (Josey), Landon Baker, Haley and Bryson Peter; her great grandchild Tabor Pridgen; and her sister Dorothy Richardson of Wilson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Baker Home (4513 Frank Price Church Rd, Wilson, NC 27893). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (2800 Nash St N, Wilson, NC 27896).
