It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheryl Elizabeth Ferrell of Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on September 24, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary P. Ferrell and Rastie Walter Ferrell; her brother Thomas H. Glasgow; her son David T. Etheridge; and her pets, Petunia and Gage.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Nyx Etheridge of Anchorage and Owen Thomas Etheridge of Wilson; her stepmother Sandra G. Ferrell; her half-siblings, Kimberly Ferrell Carter (Allen) of Greenville and Stephen Rastie Ferrell of Wilson; her nephews, Shawn Paul Glasgow and Matthew Thomas Glasgow; her aunt Wilma Ferrell of Alabama; and her close friend Gay Little of Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:45 PM at the Joyners Funeral Home & Crematory (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896).
